Awareness Committee

Did you know that there are more than 30 million slaves in the world today? Or that 200-300 thousand of those slaves are trafficked in the United States? Before researching it, we sure didn’t. That is the case for many people in America today. They are completely unaware of this injustice that is occurring around them every day- in the bar by their favorite restaurant, in the massage parlor on their way to work, in their neighbor’s house next door. We’re completely unaware. That is why we have a committee devoted to making as many people as possible aware of the modern day slavery that is taking place. The Awareness Committee will consistently hold events to ensure that this goal is reached, and to give those that have been made aware an outlet to act. For, not only are we devoted to making people aware, but also to providing people an opportunity to act on what they have learned about human trafficking.
